> About Contingent Motor Insurance:
It’s very important to clarify that the Nannyinsure motor contingent liability does not cover the nanny when she is driving whilst on duty. She must be insured as a named driver on her employer's motor insurance for this purpose. The motor contingent liability extension provides cover when you are in a vehicle which is not the property of nor provided by you, not being driven by you, but where you could be held legally liable for an accident.
> Temporary nannies & nanny shares:
Temping nannies or nannies with more than one employer can be covered subject to standard policy conditions without the need to inform us every time they change jobs. However, Nannyinsure must be informed if the nanny begins a job where any of the children suffer from any medical conditions.
> Nannies working abroad:
Nannyinsure is designed and intended for nannies permenantly working and residing in the UK. However, we are delighted that Nannyinsure can now provide cover for up to 6 months in any one year of insurance, within the EU*. This is also intended to cater for nannies working in the EU for the ski season*. And like temping nannies above, there is no requirement to inform us everytime you change your job.
*Conditions apply. For more detailed information about the Nannyinsure policy, please read through the Nannyinsure policy summary.
* Please note that this does not cover ski related activities.
