Policy price
Nannyinsure is an annual policy that provides up to £5million Public Liability cover and up to £50,000 personal accident cover. This is available at a cost of £59 per year – Inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax (IPT).
How to pay for Nannyinsure
The annual fee is payable in full upon application.
Your details and payment are secure and provided by Sage Pay.
Once you have completed and submitted the online application form, provided there are no issues with your details, you will be taken to a payment page where you will be asked to supply your credit or debit card details. Please note that the online payment page does not accept Maestro.
*Note for nannies – you will need to apply and complete the application form yourself as it will ask for details pertaining to you. If your employer is buying the insurance for you, it may be a good idea to complete the form together, so payment details can be provided at the end.
Who should pay for nanny insurance?
We suggest you talk to your employer to discuss options when it comes to the payment. In some situations the employer may ask that the nanny takes out an insurance policy to obtain Ofsted registration – as this allows eligible parents to benefit from government support schemes such as Tax-free childcare. In this case the employer may pay for the insurance but this is entirely at their discretion.
Nannyinsure is your policy
It’s important for your employer to remember that regardless of who pays, it is the nanny’s policy, and so when you leave your employer, the policy will leave with you.
